About
Valentina Corbella es una actriz internacional que se desempeña actualmente en teatro y en cine. Su formación comenzó en Buenos Aires con Hugo Midón, Juan Carlos Gene, Julio Ordano, y Guillermo Cacace. En Nueva York continuó su formación en el Conservatorio AMDA y comenzó con su trabajo en cine protagonizando varios largometrajes y cortometrajes. La actriz
fue premiada en festivales de cine internacionales por su rol en “Starlit” y por su protagónico en “AKIKA” ( MARVEL). En Buenos Aires, asistió a Jean Jacques-Lemetre ( Theatre du Soleil) en varios seminarios. Desde su regreso a la Argentina, entrenó Suzuki y trabajó en teatro. Estrenó “Iniquidad” en el 2019 y estrena en el 2020 “En el olvido de mis padres” un proyecto teatral abordado desde el entrenamiento Suzuki y Viewpoints. Valentina Corbella fue invitada al festival de CANNES 2019 por “Starlit” , película con la que ganó premios de mejor actriz principal.
Performance
I coach and train actors both in groups and one-to-one. I work with all ages and experiences. My approach is based on the Suzuki and Viewpoints training added to Meisner, Uta Hagen, Terzopoulos, Roberta Carreri’s work and other strong theatrical influences. Teaching and guiding actors towards discoveries is my passion. In La Fragua Bruta you can read about future workshops and trainings.
Moreover, I guide students’ applications and audition preparation for International Universities like AMDA, New School and NYU.
